Koba is a major antagonist in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise, starting off as a supporting character in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the main antagonist of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and a posthumous antagonist in War for the Planet of the Apes. He is an aggressive, dangerous, vengeful, and violent Bonobo ape who is considered to be an evil counterpart to the main protagonist.
